Men’s and Women’s Wrestling
Wittenberg Wrestling is returning to the University, launching both men’s and women’s programs in the 2026–27 school year thanks entirely to donor and alumni support. The wrestling program was discontinued after the 1989–90 season, and this reinstatement reflects the strong call from alumni and friends who believe in expanding opportunities for Tigers.
A Week for Witt is especially meaningful as we celebrate the inauguration of Wittenberg’s 16th President, Dr. Christian M. M. Brady. Supporting Wrestling during this historic moment helps provide the resources needed to relaunch the program, including training, equipment, travel, and team development.
During A Week for Witt, Oct. 18–24, 2025, your gift ensures that Wrestling thrives once again at Wittenberg, honoring its history while creating a strong future for Tigers on the mat.
